Widely regarded as a transformative figure in classical music, Konstantin Ishkhanov, born in 1970, is a prominent businessman and cultural philanthropist known for his leadership in numerous international festivals, competitions, and music academies. After completing his postgraduate education, he began a successful career in innovative technology research. However, in 2010, he shifted focus to cultural projects, launching initiatives that have since gained international recognition.
In recent years, Konstantin Ishkhanov has established himself as a pioneer in the realm of arts and culture, with a biography that includes a wealth of internationally recognised projects and events, most of which he founded himself. As President of prestigious events like the InClassica International Music Festival, ClaviCologne Piano Festival, and the Accordi Musicali International Music Academy, Ishkhanov has built a reputation for excellence. He also leads several major competitions, including Classic Piano, Classic Cello, Classic Violin Olympus, and Classic Winds. In 2019, he became the first non-Maltese citizen to receive Malta’s highest cultural honour for his exceptional contribution to the country's cultural life.
