Recognized as one of the most outstanding cellists of his generation, Moreau first gained international attention as a prizewinner at the Mstislav Rostropovich International Cello Competition in 2009 and the International Tchaikovsky Competition in 2011. Since then, he has established a remarkable international career, performing with many of the world's leading orchestras and conductors.
His collaborations include appearances with the New York Philharmonic, London Symphony Orchestra, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Orchestre de Paris, working alongside renowned conductors such as Gustavo Dudamel, Marin Alsop, Lahav Shani, and Myung-Whun Chung.
A passionate chamber musician, Moreau has shared the stage with some of the most celebrated artists of our time, including Martha Argerich, Yo-Yo Ma, Renaud Capuçon, and Khatia Buniatishvili.
An exclusive artist of Erato Warner Classics, his award-winning discography showcases a broad artistic range, from classical concertos to innovative recital programs. In 2023, he was appointed Professor of Cello at the prestigious Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, further cementing his reputation as both a performer and educator of the highest caliber.
