Accordi Musicali Academy 2026 Opens in Pescara with Masterclasses in Multiple Schools

Taking place from the 3rd to the 9th of August , the Academy forms part of the wider Accordi Musicali project, offering young musicians the opportunity to work closely with distinguished professors and internationally renowned artists.

This year's Academy includes various masterclasses in violin, cello, winds, and piano , giving participants the chance to receive specialized guidance across a range of instrumental disciplines. Beyond the lessons themselves, the Academy also creates an important space for students to exchange ideas with one another, build friendships, and develop new contacts with young fellow musicians from different backgrounds.

The opening day already reflected the collaborative spirit of the event, with students actively engaging in lessons and discussions, and professors praising both the atmosphere and the commitment shown by the participants. speaking about his first impressions, violinist Ivan Rabaglia described the experience as “very interesting and enjoyable,” adding that “we were indeed warmly welcomed by the students, and it was wonderful to meet some colleagues and internationally renowned concert artists at the Conservatory.”

Pianist Alberto Miodini also highlighted the attitude of the young musicians taking part, noting how rewarding it was to find “a genuine interest and a willingness to embrace the ideas and reflections we sought to inspire in them.” He added that this openness is “one of the most important things for anyone who wishes to continue growing and developing.”

For cellist Enrico Bronzi , meanwhile, the value of the Academy lies in the close relationship it creates between education and live artistic production. “Accordi Musicali is an excellent example of synergy between musical production and education,” he said. “The opportunity to host the Festival's musicians and bring them together with students from higher music education institutions enriches the educational offering and creates a dialogue between different generations.”

With a successful first day behind them, students and professors alike are now already looking forward to the rest of what promises to be a highly inspiring week of learning and musical discovery in the heart of the Italian summer!
