Marco Moresco
Marco Moresco graduated in Piano, Composition and Conducting.
As a pianist he collaborated with musicians such as G. Bumbry, M. Bacelli, L. Gallo, F. Armiliato, R. Bruson, A.Di Toro, J. Adamonytė. G. Andaloro, L. Ranieri.
He also played for several competitions: International Singing competition A. Catalani in Ostra, Mondial Chinese Vocalist Concours in Taipei and Operimberg Grandi Voci Competition in Salzburg.
For many years he was one of the official pianists for the courses of the Accademia musicale pescarese working with the artists such as: C. Scarponi, B. Incagnoli, M. Paris, S. Verzari, G. Nova, H. Elhorst, T. Indermühle, W. W. Meyer, R. Izzicupo, E. Dindo.
He conducted many Operas: the world modern premiere of Il ritratto by G. Braga, Otello and Macbeth by G. Verdi, La Cenerentola, L’Italiana in Algeri and Il Barbiere di Siviglia by G. Rossini, Cavalleria Rusticana by P. Mascagni, Il Matrimonio segreto by D. Cimarosa, Carmen by G. Bizet, La Boheme, Gianni Schicchi and Madama Butterfly by G. Puccini, Così fan tutte by W. A. Mozart (director P. L. Pizzi for the Rete lirica Marche production).
For Musanima contemporary music festival he also conducted many world premieres of contemporary music written by: E. Alandia, I. Fedele, V. Palumbo, A. Ravera, C. Magnan, F. De Rossi Re.
He has recorded for the Bongiovanni Records in Bologna (Il Ritratto by G. Braga and The English Songs by F. P. Tosti); for the Dynamics label- a monography of chamber music by P. Hindemith; he has been one of the pianists that recorded F. P. Tosti’s complete Romanze da camera recently released by Brilliant Classic label.
Since 2018 he holds a position as the resident conductor of the Abruzzo Symphony Orchestra.
Marco is a professor of Piano accompaniment at the Conservatoire of Pescara.
