Andrey
Baranov
One of the most successful musicians of his generation, violinist Andrey Baranov enjoys an exclusive career as an outstanding soloist and a sought after ensemble partner, performing on main stages and festivals in Europe, North and South America, Africa, and Asia.
He is the winner of the Queen Elisabeth Violin Competition of 2012, the Benjamin Britten and Henri Marteau International Violin Competitions.
Since making his debut in 2005 at the Saint-Petersburg Philharmonic Grand Hall under Vasily Petrenko and Saint-Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra, Mr. Baranov went on to performing with Vienna Symphony Orchestra, Montreal Symphony Orchestra, Luxembourg Philharmonic, Mahler Chamber Orchestra, Brussels Philharmonic, National Orchestra of Belgium, MusicAeterna Orchestra, Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra, Sendai Philharmonic, Royal Philharmonic London and Camerata Salzburg.
Andrey is the first violinist and founding member of David Oistrakh String Quartet, an ensemble established in 2012. His chamber music partners include, among others, Martha Argerich, Eliso Virsaladze, and Julian Rachlin.
His album „The Golden Violin“, released on the MUSO Label and featuring romantic violin pieces, has won the prestigious „Diapason d’Or“ award in 2018.

Ivan
Rabaglia
Ivan Rabaglia (1971) has been the violinist of the Trio di Parma since its establishment in 1990. He graduated with full marks, honors and honorable mention from the “A. Boito” Conservatory of mastered his studies with Franco Gulli, Stefan Gheorghiu, Giuliano Carmignola, Pavel Vernikov, Ilya Grubert, Zinaida Gilels, the Trio of Trieste (Dario De Rosa, Renato Zanettovich, Amedeo Baldovino) and with Isaac Stern at the Chamber Music New York Workshop.
Together with his colleagues from the Trio, Alberto Miodini and Enrico Bronzi, he won the 1st prize at the 16th Vittorio Gui International Competition in Florence in 1992, the 2nd prize at the 2nd Melbourne International Chamber Music Competition in 1995, the 2nd prize at the 47th Internationaler Musikwettbewerb der ARD München in 1998 (1st not awarded), the 1st prize at the 1st Concours International del Musique de Chambre de Lyon in 2004 and obtained the “Abbiati” prize of Italian music critics in 1994.
The activity carried out with the Trio led Ivan Rabaglia to play for the most important Italian and foreign musical institutions: Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, Società del Quartetto di Milano, Amici della Musica in Florence, Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Unione Musicale of Turin, Friends of Music of Palermo, Berlin Philharmonic, Konzerthaus of Vienna, Wigmore Hall of London, Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall of New York, Salle Molière of Lyon, Performance Arts Center of Moscow, St. Petersburg Philharmonic, Teatro Colòn of Buenos Aires and various international festivals including Lockenhaus (Austria), Luzern (Switzerland), Melbourne (Australia), Sligo (Ireland), Lake District (England), Bad Kissingen (Germany), Cartagena (Colombia), Orta and Portogruaro ( Italy).
He has played with illustrious musicians including Bruno Giuranna, Simonide Braconi, Simone Briatore, Alessandro Carbonare, Fabrizio Meloni, Eduard Brunner, Guglielmo Pellarin, Wolfgang Holzmair and as a soloist with conductors such as Vladimir Delman, Angelo Campori, Carl Melles, Franco Petracchi, Hubert Soudant and Anton Nanut.

Aleksey
Semenenko
The refined, impassioned and commanding playing of Ukrainian violinist Aleksey Semenenko identifies him as inheritor of the great Odessa violin tradition and earnt him places on both the BBC New Generation Artists scheme and Young Concert Artists in New York, bringing him to the attention of audiences across Europe and the US.
Semenenko has given recitals at Snape Maltings, Wigmore Hall, Kennedy Center and Alice Tully Hall, and performed concertos with orchestras including BBC National Orchestra of Wales, BBC Philharmonic, Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, Seattle Symphony, Orchestra of St Luke’s, National Orchestra of Belgium, Ulster Orchestra, Kyiv Symphony and Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra. His festival performances include invitations at the Hay, Cheltenham, Chipping Campden and Edinburgh festivals.
Recent highlights include a UK tour with National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, the televised return of BBC Radio 3’s ‘Friday Night is Music Night’ with BBC Concert Orchestra, and concerts and recordings with BBC Philharmonic, Ulster Orchestra and Szczecin Philharmonic. This season Semenenko makes his Canadian debut at Bourgie Hall, and gives concerts with Kyiv Symphony at Berlin Philharmonie, and with Kuopio Symphony.
The most recent addition to Semenenko’s discography is his album ‘Crossroads’ on BIS, with pianist Artem Belogurov, featuring sonatas by Previn, Schemmer and Gay. The launch of the album was marked by a Wigmore Hall recital in which the duo performed a selection of American works.
Semenenko began his violin studies at the age of six with Zoya Mertsalova at Stolyarsky School, making his solo debut with orchestra only a year later with Odessa Philharmonic. He completed his studies with Zakhar Bron and Harald Schoneweg at Cologne’s Hochschule für Musik and was a prize winner in the 2015 Queen Elizabeth Violin Competition.
Alongside his performing career, Semenenko is Violin Professor at the Folkwang Universität der Künste in Essen, Germany, and Co-organiser and Artistic Director of the Odesa International Violin Competition.

Sergei
Dogadin
After bright successes at the most precious violin competitions Sergei Dogadin acquired international fame as one of the best violinist of his generation.
In 2019 Sergei was awarded First Prize and Golden Medal at the XVI International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow. Among his other significant victories such major contents as IX Joseph Joachim International Violin Competition Hannover and Singapore International Violin Competition.
Sergei is the grant-holder of the Russian Ministry of Culture, Prize-winner of the Mozart Society in Dortmund (Germany), winner of the award established by Maestro Yuri Temirkanov and winner of the Prize of the President of Russia.
